چکیده
X-ray scintillators are widely used in medical imaging, industrial flaw detection, security inspection, and space exploration. However, traditional commercial usually associated with a high use cost because of their substantial toxicity easy deliquescence. In this work, an atomically precise Au–Cu cluster scintillator (1) thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) property was facilely synthesized, which is environmentally friendly highly stable to water oxygen. The TADF 1 endows it ultrahigh exciton utilization rate. Combined the effective absorption caused by heavy-atom effect limited nonradiative transition close packing crystal state, exhibits excellent radioluminescence property. Moreover, has good processability for fabricating large, flexible thin-film device (10 cm × 10 cm) high-resolution can reach 40 μm (12.5 LP mm–1). properties mentioned earlier make coinage metal promising as substitute scintillators.

Thermally activated delayed fluorescence in fullerenes.
This report reviews the thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) displayed by fullerenes. From the analysis of the steady-state data, time-resolved data, or by a combination of both, it is possible to determine several important photophysical parameters of fullerenes. Herein we also cover the development of temperature and oxygen sensors based on the TADF effect exhibited by fullerene C(...

Thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) has recently emerged as one of the most attractive methods for harvesting triplet states in metal-free organic materials for application in organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs). A large number of TADF molecules have been reported in the literature with the purpose of enhancing the efficiency of OLEDs by converting non-emissive triplet states into...

A metal-free aromatic compound with a chiral carbon sandwiched between a donor moiety and an acceptor moiety was designed. Under thermally activated delayed fluorescence, the compound displayed a photoluminescence quantum yield of 26%, and showed circularly polarized luminescence with a dissymmetry factor of 10(-3).

Compared with fluorescence imaging utilizing fluorophores whose lifetimes are in the order of nanoseconds, time-resolved fluorescence microscopy has more advantages in monitoring target fluorescence. In this work, compound DCF-MPYM, which is based on a fluorescein derivative, showed long-lived luminescence (22.11 μs in deaerated ethanol) and was used in time-resolved fluorescence imaging in liv...
متن کاملThe Importance of Vibronic Coupling for Efficient Reverse Intersystem Crossing in Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence Molecules
Factors influencing the rate of reverse intersystem crossing (krISC ) in thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) emitters are critical for improving the efficiency and performance of third-generation heavy-metal-free organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). However, present understanding of the TADF mechanism does not extend far beyond a thermal equilibrium between the lowest singlet and ...
